Exactly two years ago the world had lost an invaluable .. His name was James Owen Sullivan, but he is still alive inside each one of us.
Jimmy I'll never forget your jokes, your smile, your laugh, your character, teachings and all the joy you got through to me and many others in 28 years of your life you achieved what many can not, could change lives, succeeded in moving people and turns them into better people, I am one of those people. I am very sorry never to have seen you live, but that's okay, I hope one day to find you there ... in heaven, there are so many things I'd like to talk to you but it is impossible in a nutshell. Thank you for having existed. I will never forget you.

Two years ago today, the world lost one of the most talented musicians, and one of the most genuine, kind-hearted human beings it had ever seen. This man created music that touched the lives of every single person who listened, and he had a heart of gold. To look beyond just his music, this was a man who never harmed a soul, who never had even one enemy, and who did everything in his power every day of his life to show those closest to him that he loved them. When he died, the world did, too. Just a little bit. So, that said, in loving memory of a pure soul gone too soon, Rest in Peace, Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan. We love you, we miss you.

This Song and Video is awesome. I lost my brother in April 2011 and I really didn't get into you guys until shortly after but I have to say Thank You b/c you have given more than just piece of mind to myself but also to my parents as well. My dad actually admits that he cried when you came to Little Rock AR and played Buried Alive.... Thank you for the great music and the courage you have given my family. If you can do it anyone can.... Please Keep It Up.

I'm not sure If you guys will read this or not But i just wanted to say this song helped me alot, My father passed away October 8th and until tonight I had no been able to cry and let my pain out but for some reason when i randomly put this song on my playlist and I just started letting it out when i listened to the words..so i put it on repeat and let alot out tonight nearly a month later...thank you guys

A good friend of mine and my husband's was KIA in Afghanistan on Saturday (8/27/2011) and "So Far Away" has pretty much been on repeat. Hey Avenged. Just wanted to thank you guys SO much for this song and Victim. My cousin recently passed away due to violence and rage, and these two songs have helped me out so much during this difficult time. My family is friends with the Sullivans, and we give out our regards and sympathy to your loss. Jimmy was definitely one of a kind. You guys are my heroes, and I'm very excited to see you in October. <3
