MVI UPDATE
Are you getting the “Communicating to Server” error on your MVI? Follow these simple instructions to fix the problem.
Macintosh Instructions:
Quit the Avenged Sevenfold MVI application.
Navigate to the following folder on your Macintosh:
Documents -> Warner Music Group -> Warner Bros. Records -> Avenged Sevenfold
Locate and delete the folder called “Avenged Sevenfold”
Re-launch the Avenged Sevenfold MVI application
Re-register and activate your Avenged Sevenfold MVI
Select GET UPDATES NOW under the Get More! Menu.
Windows Instructions:
Quit the Avenged Sevenfold MVI application.
Navigate to the following folder on your PC:
My Documents\Warner Music Group\Warner Bros. Records\Avenged Sevenfold
Locate and delete the folder called “Avenged Sevenfold”
Re-launch the Avenged Sevenfold MVI application
Re-register and activate your Avenged Sevenfold MVI
Select GET UPDATES NOW under the Get More! Menu
You’ll will see the little “content has been updated” message under the GET UPDATES NOW button once it has communicated with the server. You will also see that the two videos named The Making of Avenged Sevenfold and The Making of Avenged Sevenfold (Animated Short) are branded as “new”. They are not actually new videos, but their names have changed. This NEW branding will disappear the next time you use the MVI.
