I had a dream that I sang So far Away with you guys, I am going to see you next month in Atlantic City. I have been counting the days since February when I bought the tickets,am driving 7 hours to you and hope and pray that I get called up to sing with you all, I am determined! I will post, knowing you don't have a clue what your fans comment on, but if there is any chance of someone getting through to one of you to call me up, Im making a sign and bulldozing my way up front. I know its a risk and I will probably get hurt,but its worth it to me lol I love you guys and cant wait to see you put on a kick ass show. Hopefully I will be up there with you singing my heart out! The pain is strong when we lose somebody we love. The words of Jimmy´s mother are so beautiful, her letter has touched me so deep inside.
Sadly I´ve lived the lost of one of the most important people in my life, my mother, it happened 4 years ago but the pain still here, in my heart like the first day... I´ve never said it in public but...well..today is a special day... I´m sure they are in heaven taking care of us, and I believe too that we will see them again soon.
Jimmy has something special, a lot of people will remember him foREVer, I think he must be extremely happy for the love of their family, best friends and all his fans. Don´t be sad, I think he wants us to be happy :)
We will never forget him.

Today is December 28. But to hardcore fans of this amazing band, it's a day that will live in infamy. As today, marks the 2 year anniversary of the passing of Jimmy "The Rev" Sullivan. Jimmy was a kind-hearted who was everyone's bestfriend. He loved everyone and he wanted them to know it. I wish to pay my respects and say i can't express how sorry I am to not only the members of Avenged Sevenfold, but to the Sullivan family. They lost an amazing son, we all lost an amazing person and Avenged Sevenfold lost their brother. R.I.P Jimmy. We all love you. Gone, remembered, never forgotten. A7X foREVer.

SO FAR AWAY it's my favorite song.so far away to make everyone remember the our BEST DRUMMER

i absolutely love this song, and it has become one of my favorites. my brother committed suicide last week so now i know how the guys felt when this song was written. my brother was an amazing guy just like the rev was an amazing drummer.

my parents said i get to choose a song that reminds me of my brother to play during the slide show of him at his service. i chose this song cuz now every time i hear it, i think of him. i loved my brother a lot and i'll miss him dearly.

I love this song, but I can't hear, I don't stop to cry every time I hear this song. I love The Rev, I love avenged Sevenfold! You're amazing I will never forget the concert in Madrid on 06/24/2011, screaming all the concert with all my heart!
My life changed since I heard you, I know this can sound exaggerate, but it's true. \m/

as this happened to me (but was my brother that died) i know exactly how you felt and this track helped me alot when it first happened plus it is a great song well done to everyone who was involved making the track!!!!
